To fully understand the concept behind the director's role, I needed to conduct further research into my role and understand how to direct a film on set.

After watching this video, I've gotten a better understanding of the wording I should use when filming the swede. I listened to many of the best directors of filmmaking give key points on how to best direct my cast and ideas that I could use in my swede film. Also, looked at amazing films and learned the behind the scenes on how they were created, which definitely gave me a good sense of what it should look like when I get to that stage of the swede. Getting an idea of what I should be doing and how is very important since the director is a main piece of filmmaking. Without a director, you can't move forward with producing your idea from the storyboard. The tips given throughout the video were the most helpful part. The main tip that I took away from it was, if an actor has never acted in a way that needs to be portrayed, have the first time be in front of a camera so it lessens the pressure. Which is super helpful for my cast and will definitely keep that in mind while filming.
