When this Swede project was first rolled out, we instantly thought of the Mean Girls original movie. Our group and actor friends had many of the personalities that would lend themselves well to the production. Breaking it down to the "Get in Loser" scene was an easy decision since it was what this movie was most well known amongst our peers. This was sure to elicit a great reaction. In this Swede, we struggled with the mall scene where Taylor Oneal gets the phone call from Regina George. This exact moment was hard to pin-point during recreation because it was heavy on editing. We struggled to make it mimic the original during the editing process.
In comparison , the Original to our Swede, the Swede, albeit may have some flaws, I feel that we did capture the main ideas of the piece as closely as possible. We worked diligently to recreate the main scenes with the essence of its original film. Although we did not have the high-tech equipment that such movie production companies would use, I feel we used the tools at our disposal to the best of our abilities. The equipment used did not hinder our project in the slightest and the crew put in their efforts through production and editing to publish the work to best represent our team.
