CCR (Planning)

 Before beginning the CCR post, we must first initiate some planning.  Coming into this project I really enjoyed movies but did not realize all of the intricacies that went into creating them.  As I began diving into the steps of production skills I quickly learned that what we see on the big screen for just a few moments in time took many hours or even days of planning and execution.  I had my steps cut out from me. 

I started by looking within myself to analyze my own strengths and opportunities in what I am bringing to the role of the Director.   In the beginning, I felt overly confident as it seemed that I simply needed to create an outline or punch list for the crew and actors.  Then basically stay on task through completion.  However, this could not be furthest from reality.  

Secondly, through further analysis of my strengths and weaknesses, I changed my focus to what I can honestly say I did well and those areas that needed improvement.  This was an eye opening experience.

Last but not least, I asked from feedback though a peer review from those in my group.  I requested an honest review so that I could see my progress from start to finish from another point of view.
