Green Light For My Production

 Green Light For My Production

Now that I got the green light for my film, I am ready to begin the next steps.  I will need to get the script into the hands of my actors and begin getting ready to kick off production beginning March 1st.  Before getting the green light there were some concerns regarding safety particularly with the car scenes but I explained the safety protocols we will have in place.  I ensured him that I will practice safety for the actors, the crew and any innocent bystanders nearby.

I handed the script to my cast members and asked them to review and study their lines and scenes.  I wanted to give them time to embrace their character so they are ready to shine during production.  I also reviewed the expectations for their hair, makeup and wardrobe so they will be prepared when it comes time to film.  I included my AV script below:

AV Script Provided by Emily Black

I set a meeting to review this AV script that shows the Thriller/Suspense factor of my project. The time we spent together to review this script was more to help them become immersed in their role as the male character is playing an abusive husband and the female character is playing an insecure wife who is holding on to the remaining threads of their relationship.  Both of the roles are completely unlike the actors actual traits and I wanted to allow them both to become comfortable in their roles. Upon review with my cast we collaborated and discussed a few more ideas that I may implement into my production.  The cast enjoyed the script so far and really are looking forward to getting started.
