Researching Editing Software
Now that the scenes have been shot, I am excited to begin compiling my work. Again, as a single member crew, I want to be sure the software gives the work the most professional look as can be with the resources that I have available. As mentioned before, I have a minimal budget and not much experience in this area. The shots by themselves look great so far and now to build the pieces into the whole would be the next step.
I am currently reviewing and watching tutorials for DaVinci Resolve Free and Premier Pro. At the first glance they both are great options for my project. DaVinci does offer a free product and has unmatched color grading with incredible high performance and speed. I have read that many YouTube influencers use this as well. However, with its high end performance comes a steep learning curve which requires significant time and resources to master.

Premier Pro also has many great tools with a free version for a limited time as well. It does offer a wide range of video special effects and color correction enhancements. It also allows you to incorporate multiple file formats to support the project. The audio mixer option also allows for editing and creation of tracks to correct the sound effects for the film without much extra resources and efforts.
